Over the last 5 years, we have taken three American Cruise Lines cruises. There are a few valid reasons to use American Cruise Lines, however, a couple of things you should know about which ended up being disappointments for us include: You better read ALL your information carefully before booking. All things considered, American Cruise Lines took care of the situation admirably well, and I feel most passengers were okay with how everything worked out.
I had great experience with American Cruise lines. My family went to Mississippi river through ACL cruise this year in summer and had a really great time. We loved each and every moment of out trip because of the ACL. We prefer small ship cruises, especially river cruises. We walked along the port to have a look on the embankment which was in front of the hotel, and it was totally exquisite experience. We disembarked in Clarkston, and flew back to the place we were residing and that is optional but a must try thing. We enjoyed delicious seafood and loved the ACL services and we would love to go again river cruise that too only on ACL.
The America is a wonderful ship and small enough to really enjoy seeing some of the same people at different meals and excursions. I just got back a few days ago from a cruise on the America. Everything was very well cleaned and maintained. Breakfast could be anything you wanted to order (no buffet). They served a limited menu with a choice of meat (beef or pork or lamb), chicken, fish, and a vegetarian dish.The entertainment and lectures were very informative and given by experts.I enjoyed it.I would take another American Cruise Lines cruise again!

Booked Grand Heartland Cruise. The hospitality was great and the cuisine was perfect. They were perfect in all ways.
