My experience with Alcolock has been frustrating and a great source of anger. On March 20/23 the alarm started going off intermittently and continued for 4 more days, regardless of the number of times I called Alcolock for a solution. Each time I called they were "experiencing a high number of calls" so I typically waited on hold for 30 minutes or was kicked out of the que and forced to leave a message and try again. At the same time I was having starting problems with the truck and had to have it towed to a garage. My mechanic has been waiting for a code that works since Thursday March 23/23. I called Alcolock on the 24th and was told a code would be provided. It wasn't, because when I called the garage on the 27th they told me they were waiting for a code that actually worked. So, my truck sat for 2 business days and a weekend with absolutely no work being done on it. I need my truck and obviously can't rent something. Today, the 27th I called Alcolock and after 25 minutes of being on hold was kicked out and told to leave a message. I called back and finally spoke with a real person, after about 15 minutes of being on hold. I was told that a code was provided to my garage, this morning. It did not work. The garage called Alcolock back on the morning of the 27th but as of 2:00 pm Alcolock had not called back with a new code. When I finally was able to actually speak to someone at Alcolock and explained the situation and my utter frustration, no apology was issued. I asked that a new code be provided. The technician said the garage must have entered the earlier code incorrectly. Perhaps that did happen but given the many, many problems I've had with Alcolock over the past 10 days I'm not convinced. None of this is acceptable. I have no faith that Alcolock will improve its service. I have been unable to find any positive reviews, anywhere. They simply don't care.
