I was all of a sudden unable to keep my credit card payments up to date because of medical issues. I was starting to feel like I was suffocating. When I chose to get help from CareOne Credit Counseling I was terrified they would have been similar to the bill collectors. Not in the least, they are my ally and truly help anyway they can. WITHOUT making me feel terrible. I'm a little over half way. They have gotten me some sweet settlements and my credit score has not suffered as I figured it would.
