AC Repair Miami

AC Repair Miami

As any AC mechanic when he/she is most busy, and the answer is near unanimous – summertime. Electric control failure, poor maintenance, refrigeration leaks, sensor problems, the list of things that can go wrong on an air conditioning unit at seemingly the worst possible time is endless. One of the biggest risks by far is when condensation and water mix with electricity. There’s a reason electricity and water are not bedfellows – the mix is toxic. Electrical shocks kill more Americans each year than virtually any other “household related” accident.

Before jumping into AC repair, it is recommended to first judge whether the issue constitutes an emergency, and second, what best describes the problem. For example, is the unit simply not running, not cooling in one specific location (or multiple), leaking, inefficient HVAC, etc.? Another big question that many gloss over – how old is the current system? Living in Miami with an outdated unit might as well be classified as a crime. This city was made for AC use. Heck, a good AC repairman or woman could earn the equivalent of an investment banker in Miami if they handle their business correctly.

With that said, we’re going to present two companies that are leading the pack when it comes to AC repair in the great city of Miami.

ARS of Miami

When you see reviews on AC repair stating, “outstanding,” or “exceptional customer service,” that’s a good sign. After all, who leaves these types of reviews on AC repair comment boards? Well, as you’ll read here, lots of folks do, and the reason why is when said AC breaks down, you feel like your life is in shambles. Especially living in Miami!

ARS is a full air conditioning, heating and indoor air quality company. They deal with installation, repair and maintenance, provide free replacement estimates, are licensed, bonded and insured, and perform regular background checks and drug tests on all employees. A more legit AC repair service you’ll be hard-pressed to find.

One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating

Out of beautiful Pompano Beach, One Hour doesn’t claim to fix your unit in an hour (although they have, and customers value them for the speed). But they will typically respond in one hour (depending on location) which is highly valued when the temperature gauge hits the 90s. One Hour specializes in emergency services, works extensively on indoor air quality and thermostats, gets into air duct installation, cleaning and repair, and also sells a range of protection plans.

Perhaps one of the signature calling cards however with One Hour is their customer service. There are few repair companies that appear to understand the horror that comes with an AC unit breaking down. Granted, these are first-world problems, but One Hour treats them as if they were life and death. And while they are far from that, it’s nice to see someone treat your problems with seriousness, right? Who wants to keep sweating in their Banana Republic linens after all!
